Sunday Target.

What are your plans this weekend? Sunday morning I know I will be at my local Target store. Why? Because Jason Wu is arriving at the fan-favorite this February 5th and I cannot wait. Everything in the 53 piece limited-time collection is priced under $60.

Have you seen the commercial yet? I must have that first yellow peplum top. And check out that wear-anywhere black pleated skirt! This is a terrific budget conscious way to achieve the yellow and black trend I told you about here. I would wear this outfit now with a cropped black jacket and black tights.

Do you own a trench coat yet? It is a staple to every woman's wardrobe. Check out this chic black offering.

Now let's move on to my favorite part of this collection, the dresses. What is better than a lightweight sundress after months of layered clothing? This white classic is my must have.

I already know what I want to wear this Fourth of July. (For more ideas, look here.) I would change out the belt, add a gorgeous pair of espadrille wedges, grab my sunglasses and voila! Barbecue ready. At $40, I wouldn't care if I accidentally dropped ketchup down the front either.

Jason Wu knows that a straw handbag is a spring/summer essential once you have packed away your heavy, dark, leather bags. I just can't decide which one of his new designs I like better. I love the sophisticated silhouette of this one...

And I love the contrast of textures on this canvas and straw wristlet clutch... Which one is your favorite?

This canvas tote is the perfect size for sunscreen, sunglasses, Evian spray, the latest edition of Vogue, a bottle of water, and a small snack. Beach day anyone?

It is only the first week of February in New England and I am looking forward to spring. (Thank you Jason Wu!) And don't worry, if you are arrive at your local Target store when it opens, you will be home with plenty of time to prep for the big game. Go Pats.

Treat everyday like you are on the runway.

  1. I adore those dresses! Now I'm planning to be at target in the AM, too! Especially since the other designer collections have flown out of the stores. Thanks for the heads up! (p.s. this is Cortney, your sisters friend from college. :) love the blog!)
